The 2024 scholarship recipients have been selected! Please join us in celebrating these talented Latino law students at this year’s scholarship banquet!

To our applicants: Regardless of whether or not you were selected as a scholarship recipient this year, we hope you will get involved with the HBAPA (free law student membership) and we look forward to supporting you on your law school journey! We received a record-breaking number of applications this year and we are so encouraged by and proud of the diverse talent reflected in this year’s applicant pool! You have overcome a lot of obstacles to get to where you are today and you will continue to do amazing things!

the submission deadline for the 2024 hbalef scholarship application has passed.

HBALEF scholarships are available on a competitive basis to students of diverse backgrounds. The number of scholarships awarded each year varies depending on fundraising, but generally six to eight scholarships are awarded each year. In recent years, scholarship amounts have ranged from $3,000 to $4,000 per recipient. Please note the number and amount of HBALEF scholarships is subject to change.

To be eligible for a 2024 HBALEF scholarship, the applicant must be:

a) Enrolled at an accredited law school located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware during the 2024-2025 academic year; and

b) Of Hispanic heritage.
