HBAPA

The HBA of PA is partnering with the Mayor's Office of Immigrant and Multicultural Affairs (MOIMA)

The Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania (HBA of PA) is partnering with the Mayor's Office of Immigrant and Multicultural Affairs (MOIMA) to assist the City of Philadelphia with outreach to our community in the areas of citizenship and naturalization, immigration services fraud, and the immigration executive action taken by President Obama.  MOIMA needs leaders, like the members of the HBA of PA, to accomplish their goals in the community.  There is an immediate need for volunteer lawyers to assist with citizenship and naturalization initiatives.  If you are interested in learning more about how you can help the HBA of PA with this partnership initiative, please contact Caroline Cruz at cruzcaro@gmail.com.

If you would like to learn more about MOIMA and its initiatives, please contact Jennifer Rodriguez at Jennifer.I.Rodriguez@phila.gov and Fernando Trevino at Fernando.Trevino@phila.gov.

The planned immediate volunteer opportunities are as follows:

There is an immediate need to assist with the 2015 Citizenship Campaign at information sessions on March 17th from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at HIAS in Center City and on March 25th from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at St. Thomas Aquinas in South Philadelphia.
