Congratulations to Derek Demeri!
The Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania is proud of Rutgers Law student Derek Demeri for being selected one of the Philadelphia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s 2018 Diversity Scholarship recipient.
After his first year of law school, Mr. Demeri finished at the top of his class and earned a seat in the prestigious Rutgers Hunter Moot Court Competition. As a leader in the LGBTQ community, he has fought for the rights of diverse community interests in the greater Philadelphia region both inside and outside of law school. He has been an active participant in HBAPA events since last summer when he first started law school. We are so proud!
